Mary "Louise" Suder

Mary “Louise” Suder, age 78, of Randolph St., Buckhannon, died on Wednesday, May 9, 2012, at St. Joseph’s Hospital. She was born on March 23, 1934, in Nicholas County, a daughter of the late Ernest and Arminta Collins Facemire. On September 5, 1998, she was united in marriage to Eugene Suder who survives. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Creed “Dale” McCord. Surviving are two daughters: Mary Alice Roessing and husband George of Buckhannon and Delores Ann Tenney and husband Frank of Buckhannon; two sons: James Lee McCord of Virginia and Roger Dale McCord and wife Cheryl of Omaha, Nebraska; three stepchildren: Jeannie Hyre and husband Randy of Buckhannon, Charles Suder and wife Eugenia of Buckhannon, and Alan Suder of Buckhannon; two brothers: Ernest Junior Facemire and wife Debbie of Virginia and Burl Facemire and wife Madelyn of Virginia; two sisters: Anna Cutlip and husband Russell of Virginia and Carol Czarkowski and husband Dennis of Virginia; eight grandchildren: J.P. Tenney and wife Kristie of Buckhannon, Ja'me Brandish and husband Brian of Buckhannon, Michael Roessing of Buckhannon, Mitchell Roessing of Virginia, Erica Emmington and husband Dave of New Mexico, Josh McCord of Omaha, Nebraska, Cynthia Head and husband Steve of Texas, and Pamela Sulak and husband Calvin of Texas; six step grandchildren: Channing Hyre, Rhianna Hyre, Shadie Suder, Ginny Suder, Adam Suder, and Alec Suder; eleven great grandchildren: Julie and Brandon Tenney, Jared and Dylan Brandish, Blake Roessing, Isabella and Brennan Emmington, Kailyn and Landon Head, Dylan and Chloe Sulak; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death was one brother Kenneth Facemire and two sisters: Vida Mollohan and Dolly Facemire. Mrs. Suder was a member of the Lorentz United Methodist Church, the Upshur County BPW, the Lorentz CEOS Club, the Gideons Auxilary, the Central WV Republican Women, and the Women of the Moose. She attended both the Lorentz United Methodist Church and the South Buckhannon Mission Church. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 11, 2012, from 3:00-8:00 PM at the Heavner and Cutright Funeral Chapel. The body will lie in state at the Lorentz United Methodist Church on Saturday, May 12, 2012, from 12:00 noon-1:00 PM, the funeral hour, with the Rev. Bobbie Rogers and Pastor Eddie Lowther officiating. Interment will follow in the Lorentz UM Church Cemetery.
