Dwight David Carpenter, age 43, of Hemlock, WV, died Saturday, July 7, 2012, at Virginia Beach, VA.  He was born on October 7, 1968, in Buckhannon, a son of Dwight and Carolyn Ann VanGilder Carpenter who survive.  He is also survived by his fiancée Barbara Ann Mayle; one daughter, Larissa Ann Carpenter of Hemlock; one sister, Judith Ann Peck and husband Clinton of Buckhannon; and niece Olivia Peck and nephew Dillon Peck, both of Buckhannon.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 11, 2012, from 5-9:00 PM, at the Heavner & Cutright Funeral Chapel.  The funeral will be held on Thursday, July 12, 2012, at 11:00 AM, at the funeral chapel with Pastor Mitch Griffin officiating.  Interment will follow in the Mt. Olive Cemetery at Hemlock.
